QUEENSLAND RESULTS. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright: Brisbane, May 1. Mr. M. J. Kirwan, the Labour candidate, won the Brisbane seat by a majority of thirty-six. Tho counting in connection wi&h the other doubtful seats is incomplete. The defeated Labour candidate for Logan electorate (W. E. N. Arnold) admitted that the strike had done the cause a lot of harm. TASMANIAN ELECTIONS,' (Hoc. May 6, 1 a.m.) Hobart, May 5. Tho counting in two more electorates has been completed and each returned three Liberals and three Labour members. Previously they returned four liberals and two Labourites.
