SEED-GROWING ASSOCIATION MOOTED. In a discussion which followed an address at Marlon on plant breeding, -Mr. .1. G. Wilson, Dominion president of the Farmers' Union, urged fanners to experiment with seeds suitable to the climate and property. At Ids suggestion the -Warton branch of the runners' Union has decided to hold a meeting to consider the appointment* of a sub-committee lo go into the matter of the formation of a seed-growing association for the distribution ot' seed already grown at tlie Ma) ton Junction experiment plots, and to obtain the necessary information regarding available quantities. "Nothing succeeds like success" is a true saying, and one that is borne out by actual experience every day of the calendar.
