EVIDENCE OF PASSENGERS. By Telesraph—Press Association-Copyright London, May 1. Giving evidence at the inquiry into the sinking of the'P. and O. liner Oceana, passengers stated that there was a panic amongst tho Lascars, who tried to get into the beats. They complained of the lack of control over the passengers, the insufficiency of skilled boatmen, and the lcakiness of tho boats. Miss Ellen stated that a steward bad to drive away Lascars, who were locking for lifebelts while she was putting heis on. ,
