SOUNDS PROM A COFFIN.
BODY FOUND STILL WARM. A case of supposed premature burial'is reported by tho- London "Daily Jfail," from Jlede," near Toulouse. Jf. Gaston, a small farmer, was supposed to have died suddenlv on Tuesday. Jfarcli 19, last, and after tlio dcatli-certilicatc had been given the funeral took place on tho following day. When earth was being shovelled on the coffin one of tho gravediggera thought ho heard groans coming from the open grave. The men stopped work, and as they heard sounds then sent for a doctor und raised the coffin. Tho lid was wrenchcd off and tho shroud torn aside. The gravediggers say it wai evident that, the body, which was still warm, had moved. When the doctor arrived he tried artificial respiration, but he was too late.
