Ju a report to be presentee! at the general meeting of the council of Ino New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association to-mor-row c-vening the Management Committee states that (he sum ot .£lO was granted towards the expenses of sending ?ifr. G. \. Bill, of Auckland, tn take part in tho Olympic Games at Stuekholin. Advice uid been received from.England that Mr. Wilding would represent Australasia ut Stockholm. The offer imule by the New Zealand Association of the sum of .1:1.1(1 and 50 per cent, of the net proceeds over and above that amount as a guarantee for an extension to New Zealand of the English team's tour had been submitted to Mr. A. Waliis Myers by the Australasian Association, and a reply from him was Awaited. Tho association's committee was in communication with tho Australasian Association on the subject of tho separation of tho Davis Cup fund accounts from tho general account of the association. Tho sum of i)SK) had been added to tho amount invested in the Savings Bank, making a sum of i'lso on depoiit to the credit of tho association. The committee had set up a sub-commit-teo to consider and report upon tho alterations made in the rules of the Lawn Ten-, nis Association at tho last annual meeting, with'a view to the adoption of the alterations by this association. It had been found desirable to insist npoa tournament programmes submitted for tho approval of the association to in future contain a condition to the effect that -all events set out in tho printed and circulated programmes for which there were, entries must bo played. The championships, 1912, would be played in Hawkc's Bay, provided satisfactory arrangements could be made.
