WHAT BECOMES OP THEM. Arising out of tho tabling of the annual report of tho Wellington Teachers' 'J'rainiiicr College at tho March meeting of the Wellington Education Board, Mr. A. 1.. \ lie asked for information as to what became of tho students who had passed out of tho college into tho educational world without its gates. This information was supplied at the board's meeting yesterday. The report read:— "During the years 19(lfi to 1911 50 men and 172 women, total 1>22, completed tho .1 raining College course. Of these, S2 (14 men and 03 women) oro now in tho service of Hie Wellington Education Board, 58 being fully certificated. There are thus 2-4 ex-studen(s now in tho board's sen-ice who have not a full certificate. Of these, 1C have passed the full examination, but the non-issue of a eertifieato is duo to the. fact that the student haa not been medically examined, has not tho necessary experience, or is not of ape. Six havo a partial pass, and require to pass two more subjects to enable them to complete their certificate. The remaining two hove, not passed the certificate examination."
