Several Liberal members of Parliament, particularly from South Wales, are forming a .leaguo to resist tho pressure oi: Socialist influence on the Ciovernmont in connection with the Coal Miners Minimum Wage Bill. The members of the leaguo state that their funds are sufficient to contest twenty-five, seats at. a general election. It is understood that at the next general election there will also be 150 Labour and Socialist candidates, including- the Labour party's candidates. The payment of members is stated to be tho chief cause of this increase.
