POLICE ATTACK BANDITS.

The polico surrounded an isolated house in Choisy lo Roi, in which tho bandits were, The bandits fired continuously, wounding several persons. Sappers placed bombs under' the house, and subsequently when tho p"olico entered they found that Bonnot had been seriously wounded, and Dubois, tho owner of tho house, was dead. An unsuccessful attempt was niado to assassinate a man named Grandjean, supposed to be an informer against Gouzy, the Anarchist owner of a louse at Ivry recently raided by tho police. It is believed that Bonnot, the motor bandit, wanted by the polico in connection with the killing of 31. Jouin, DeputyChief Detective, and the wounding of M. Colihar, Chief Inspector, was the assailant. Bonnot was in Gouzy's house at the time of the raid, and was 'wounded, but made his escape. Bonnot is dead. STORY OF THE SIEGE. HOW THE BANDITS WERE TAKEN. (Rec. April 29, 9.35 p.m.) Paris, April 29. When the bandits were surrounded at the motor garage at eight in the morning they opened a sharp fusilado and kept the police at bay. In the early stages of the siege two policemen were seriously wounded. Hundreds of shots were exchanged, I and a straw4aden cart with mattresses attached were utilised as shelter, and backed towards the house with strong armed forces behind it. Meanwhile the police, sheltering behind trees and other cover, kept up a dropping fire, on the bandits. Lieutenant Fontan, of the Republican Guard, under protection of the cart, placed bombs which missed fire at the first attempt, and on the second were successful. The back wall fell after the explosion, and shots were heard in the house. Lieutenant Fontan dashed to the first floor, and the police followed. Dubois was found dead; Bonnot, with about a dozen wounds, two of which wero mortal, tried to swallowpoison when the police seized him. The house was burnt. The crowd tried to lynch Bonnot, but the Guard used tho butts of their rifles effectively, and several of the public were injured.

Bonnot died in the hospital. ■Dubois was a notorious Russian, Anarchist, and the mob trampled his body. There were 150,000 spectators of tho siege, which lasted four hours.

Bonnot left a document declaring that the five arrested were innocent, including Gouzy. ANARCHIST MILLIONAIRE. (Rec. April 29, 11.20 p.m.) Paris, April 29. Dubois's garago belonged to Fromentin, an Anarchist millionaire and a close friend of Ferrer, who was executed at Barcelona. Fromentin devoted the bulk of his fortune to the propagation of Anarchist doctrines.
