Improvement of the Waihou River (under the Waihou and Ohiuomuri Rivera Improvement Act), ..£OSOO. Cabinet also authorised the opening or a telcphono exchange at East Oxford, tho installation of a telcphono scrvico between Havelock (Marlborough) and Tiraitangi, installation of metallic circuit betwocn Masterton and Alfredton, and tho opening of a telephone office nt Port M'Hardy (D'Urvillo Island).
