Tho Olympic's voyage has been abandoned. The remnant of the firemen hitherto loyal also declined to sail. The deserters jumped into the tug which brought the non-union firemen to tho steamer, whereupon the Olympic signalled the cruiser Cochrane, and Captain Goodenough proceeded in n pinnace and remonstrated with the deserters in the tug, declaring that their action was tantamount to mutiny. The deserters, however, were obdurate. Meanwhile, the passengers' steamer was sent to take on" the saloon passengers. Tho White Star Company has appealed to the Postmaster-Genernl to support efforts to secure the punishment of the guilty men, as unless firmness is shown it will bo unable to restore discipline and maintain tho sailings. STRIKERS REMANDED. (Rec. April 28, 5.5 p.m.) London, April 27. The Olympic's strikers. were remanded on bail until Tuesday. The Sailors' and Firemen's Union repudiates the action of the men, and states that it is due to tho local Seafarers' Union, which, has seceded.
