April 21), 1.25 p.m.) Brisbane, April 28. The latest election figures show that the Liberals are leading in forty-five electorate!. Labour in twenty-four, end Independent in three. In the. last Parliament the figures were, respectively, forty-one, twenty-six, and five. All the Ministers are lending comfortably. The Teturn of Mr. Bowman, leader of the Labour party, is assured. Mr. Coyne, leader of the Inte strike, is also in a strong position.
