In the Duma, tho Minister of the Interior endorsed tho action of tho authorities at Leira; whew'-110 soldiers faced a mob of seven thousand, and wero compelled to fire four volleys, owing to tho strikei'3 having planned to seizo the soldiers' weapins and plunder the mines.
