VILLAGERS HOMELESS.
THROUGH DAM COLLAPSING. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright. Now York, April 25. At Syracuse, New York, five hundred villagers are homeless, owing to tho Milleville dam collapsing and releasing a lake two miles long. The flood swept al! before it in the valley. Scores of houses were levelled. A telephono' girl stayed at her post and warned all tho subscribers. Everyone fled and r.ll were saved. ■ Three power plants were destroyed and two other dams carried off.
