TITANIC BUCKLES AMIDSHIP. MORE PRESS ACCOUNTS. Vancouver, April 18. The New York newspapers print stories purporting to bo the latest wireless messages from the Carpathia. Thoso state that tho Titanic buckled amidships. Ladies in evening gowns were bnndlod into the boats, not believing there was any danger. When danger was apprehended a panic ensued. Scores of injured persons are reported to bo aboard the Carpathia, and many aro nearly insane.
