DEMAND FOR APOLOGY.
MR, PIIIAXI AND A NEWSPAPER,
(By Telejraph.—Special Correspondent.) Palmerston, April lil. Mr. Fred. Pirani, chairman of llio Wanganui Education Board, has instructed his solicitors to demand from tho "Wanganui Chronicle" a full apology and the name of the writer of an article published in this morning's "Chronicle," headed "The Wanganui Kducation Board —Its Administration." In tho event of Mr. Pirani's demand not being complied with a writ for £]M)!i damages will bo issued against tho "Chronicle."
