COLUMBIA CLUB MEETS. Tho annual meeting of the Columbia Lacrosse Club was held last evening, Mi. I'. J. M'Govern presiding. Ihero was a good attendance of members, and the report oiul balancc-shcefc disclosed a satisfactory state of affairs. , , . . Several new members were elected, and tho prospects for the coming season were mentioned as encouraging. , Tho following officers were clectoi:---Patron, Jtr. J. Webster; president, Mr. it. Fletcher; vice-presidents, .Messrs. CI. A. Troup, E. A. Dawson, and A. M. Smith; lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. J. Hedge; committee, Messrs. M Govern, Fama, Quinn, and Ley don; delegates to Wellington Association, Messrs. 0 Lcary and Hedge; captain, Mr. L. C. I:ama; vice-captain, Mi". J. i. OLearv; Selection Committee, Messrs. I'ama, 0 Leary, and L ?t ( wa's decided to hold a practice match at Duppa Street on Saturday.
