A man named William Jones Windsor, whilst sitting at his dinner table, suddenly became (fomented nnd rushed into the yard nnd .returned with an axe. Ho struck his wife twice on the head with the sharp edge, splitting her skull. There is no hopo of tlio..woman's recovery. .Tones afterwards stated that ho could uot help doing it. (Rcc, April 17, 8.10 p.m.) Later. Mrs. Jones has succumbed to her injuries.
