FIRE ON A HARBOUR TUG.

ONLY SLIGHT DAMAGE

About 10.15 p.m. yesterday some men walking along the waterfront noticed flames issuing from the back of tlio funnel of Captain While's harbour tug, Moturoa. They gave tlio alarm to the City Firo Brigade, but the Harbour Boilrd men wore quickly on the scene with their plant, and had the fire under control when the city brigade arrived. The outbreak originated in the bunker, which was full of coal. There was no insurance on the vessel or tlio cargo, but the damage done was slight. The Moturoa is lying alongside tlio hulks at tlie wool wharf.
