Mcllsop Eliott and Co. have received intimation from tho Union Steam Ship Co. that tho Orient Company has cabled its willingness to tako Mrs. Eliott back to Colombo, provided a £100 bond is entered into for her leaving Australia. This is being done. [It will be remembered that Mrs. Eliott recently found, when desirous of booking a passage back to Ceylon, that certain difficulties occurred in consequence of a curious application of Australian alien law, and consequently sho was for tho time being unable to leave New Zealand.]
