MASTERTON NOTES.
A conference was lield to-day between representative.;! of the Masterton Borough and County Councils in reference to tho completion of work at the northern apto the town. The conference resulted In a deadlock, and litigation mav follow: Plans were to-day adopted by the Mastertnn Hospital Committee for a Nurses' Home at Hie local hospital. An accident occurred in the main thoroughfare this afternoon through a. horse slippiM? on the wet asphalt. Two ladies were thrown out of the gig, ond more or less severely injured. Mr. .T. M. Coradino was to-day nominated for the Mayoralty of Masterton.
