The British Museum has published the Coptic version of the greater part of the Book of Deuteronomy, the whole of the book of Jonah, and nearly all tie book of the Acts of the Apostles from Papyrus found in 1911. It is a copy of a pre-exisfcent document, not an independent translation, and was probably written before the,end..pf : the The document"-confirms the'' accounts of the spread of Christianity in Egypt.
