SEAMEN'S CONCERT.
Last evening, at the Missions to Seamen Institute in Wliitmore Street, the men of H.M.S. Encounter gave a concert, the proceeds of which oro to be used for the purpose of renovating the billiard tables at the Institute. Tho building was packed to the doors, and tho concert was a great success. The programme was as follows—Song, J. Armytage; song, J. Taylor: duet (banjo), W. Searle and P. Perkins; song, T. Munimary; display of cutlass, club, and knife swinging, A. Moss; son" \ Coleridge; selection on tli? oneftriWd fiddle, W. Kr-nl; song, T. Pryor; chorus "Taximeter Car ; selection, the Hand; phv-icnl drill display, under the direction of F. T. Taylor. V.T. , 1 :..song, T. Pryor: song and dance, the two i s; song, S. Horno; song, .1. Dawson; song, W. Day: song, T. Aluinmery; "I ha World's Worst Wizard,"' \\. heed: and "rami tableau, "Britannia, Messrs. florae, Mummery, Day, Cirindcy, Mauley, Anchell, and Company, Mr. J. llingley was the pianist.
