The fiCth nionllily meeting of tlie Wellington .lunior Philatelic .Sucioly was held at (In; residence til' Mr. W. Ferguson on Friday night. Fourteen members wore present. Four lieu* members were elec!od, hiiiifjiiifj the total up lo 12. It was decided to give a prize for (he best exhibit of stamps of one country at the animal meeting, competitors must be under eighteen years, ,md the majority of marks ivill be given for knowledge displayed in arrangement: and neatness. Mr. A. Hamilton, F.L.S., and Mr. J'. B. Piiipson trill act ns judges. Mr. W. JollilVe presented the library with 11 book on stamp collecting, ami llr. W. Fcrgu c on also gave "Philately in » Nutshell," by Mr. J. 11. Hmythe. The display inr the next, meeting, on Friday, Hay 12, will be "The Stamps of Oceana." Splendid collections of the s'anips of British North America were exhibited by Messrs. Hamilton, Daliinett, Ferguson, anil Clift. A very pleasant evening concluded with refreshments, provided by the president, Mr. \V. Ferguson.
