Judoin" bv the frequent outbursts of laughter." it' appears that the audiences at the Opera House net great amusement from the doings of those who hove been rrnt in a hvpuotic trance by Professor Norwood, fho clever feats of Aon Arx, the illusionist, are much appreciated, while the comic juggling work performed by George Murphy is very amusing. \t the "Talkeries" at noon to-day Professor Norwood will hypnotise Miss Ford. tlio pianist of the company, who, whilst in an hypnotic condition with her eyes closed, will play continuously until 7.30 pm., when she'will bo escorted to the Onera. House, awakened at 8 o'clock, and will then tako her place at the piano in the orchestra, and play throughout the performance. Professor Norwood states that plaving under suggestion in the manner noted en uses no physical exhaustion, and in no wnv affects the subject. The chief feature of the show to-night will be a representation of musical comeilv by the gentlemen who are hypnotised. Thcy will imagine themselves to be comic, opera stars, and will sing and act as such.
