Sir,—lt is gratifyinpr to .see that our Tramways Bund intend giving their services in aid of the abovo at the Newtown "Park, on Sunday next. May their ready appeal to the public for funds be richly rewarded. Perhaps during the winter evenings a few limelight or open-air concerts might be arranged, which would undoubtedly assist tho financing of such a fine institution—tho people's Zoo.—l am. etc., J.
