MOTHERS ON TRAINS.
Sir,—Before the Easter excursions commonco it is to be hoped that something will 1)9 done by supplying a carriage for women with children. The present arrangement is wretched. I am quite sure that tho majority of tho mothers would be only to glad to avail themselves' of it and "why mothers should see fit to stuff the poor mites with anything and everything during the journey puzzles mo. Tho disastrous results in. consequence of the stuffing aro positively nauseating. I am speaking from painful experience now, and tho attention that very young children require is certainly not entertaining for a mixed crowd, and most awkward for tho mothers, so let us have the "children's carriage" as soon as possible, and make every one happy.—l am, etc., MAIN TRUNK. March 23.
