It is semirnfficially stated that at the Turkish primary elections troops surrounded the polling buildings, and only allowed supporters of the Committee ot Union and Progress to enter. Christians and Albanians abstained from voting. It is further alleged that the authorities violated the secrecy of the ballot boxes.
