FIRE AT TAUPIRI.
TIMBER MILL BURNED. (By Telesrapli.-Press Association.) Auckland, April 8. News lias been received that the Northem Timber Company's mill at Taupiri was biivncd to llio ground oil Sunday morning. A bucket brigatlo was formed, but could not suppress the outbreak, rlio papers and safes were saved. It is believed the insurance amounted to about ,£IOOO, but the loss probably exceeds this amount. About 70 men will bo thrown ojit of work,
