Mackenzie wheu ho was last in Auckland a* Minister for A.<jriculture have decided to celebrate hU elevation to the office of Prime Minister with a monster bonfire nnd iiron-orks display next Saturday night. The idea, when mooted, was taken up enthusiastically by the settlers of the district, and all who can lie present at this rather novel ilcmnnslration liavo boon cordially invited to attend.
