DECISION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, Tho City Council has received from the Public Works Department a survey plan showing the boundaries of the land and tho streets to be closed under the agreement with the City Council, by which Museum Street is (o bo altered, portion of Sydney Street, closed, and n right-of- ~ way constructed from Museum 'Street through to Hill Street. Tho works ar« to be undertaken in connection with Ilia building scliemo for new Parliament House, etc. In giving the necessary consont for the work to proceed, the City Council is pointing out to the Department that tho new Museum Street and the right-of-war through Parliamentary grounds to Hill Street must be constructed before. Museum Street and Sydney Street are closed. If tho work bo carried out in this order, the public will (in the opinion of the City Engineer) bo caused with minimum inconvenience.
