: Mastcrton Wedding. The marriage, took place at Malahiwi, near Maslerton, on Thursday, of Mr. U. H. Hills, only son of lie. J."T. Hill*, of Matahiwi, and Miss Kosie J,. Carter, youngest daughter of Mr. \X. Carter, .Margate, England. The bride was given away by Jlr. Harper, and wuro a white silk dress trimmed with lace and fringe, and a veil and wreath of orange, blossoms. Miss Dorothy Hills was the bridesmaid, and Mr. Edward Harper was the best man. Tho Key. J. E. ['arsons was the officiating minister. A largo number of Friends were afterwards entertained at tho home' of the bridegroom's parents, and later tho bride and bridegroom left for the north, tho former travelling in a navy costume, with black silk facings, ami hut to match. Ono of tho prettiest weddings that have taken place at Wnngonui for some timo was solemnised at Christ Church on Thursday afternoon, when Miss Uosalind May (Kosie) Andrews, oldest daughter of Mr. W. Mrs. Mostyn Jones (Te TCuiti) has been Gtaying in town for a few day;. .Miss Insoll nianii.'(on), who has liean staying with Mrs. Barton, has returned to her homo. Mackay, who lias been visiting her parents in Now Plymouth, returns to Wellington this week. Dr. and Mrs. Bennett, of Blenheim, who have been on a' visit to New Plymouth, left for their home last week. Mr. and. Mis. F. f.imuel leave this week for Australia, and will spsnd some time at Katoomba before staying in Sydney.
