Mrs. Despard, at a meeting of the Women's Freedom League, referred to the consequences of the rejection of the Women's Suffrage Conciliation Bill, and advocated tho boycott of malo milliners, the stoppage of subscriptions to churches, and the investment of money abroad. Women, declared Mrs. Despard, should not pay tases, and should not go to seaside resorts returning anti-suffrage members to the House of Commons.
