(From Our Special Correspondents.) FEATKERSTON.' At a meeting held oil Tuesday evening lust, it was decided to form a Hockey Club'ill Fcatherston, lo be known as tho Feathei'ston Hockey Club. Mr. W. E. Bidwill was elocted patron, and Messrs. D. Goddanl, 11. Jennings, \V. G. Miller, E. Silvenvood, and A. C. Holmes a Management Committee, with K. Jennings as secretary and treasurer. It was dvcided to open the season on April 18. FEILDING. During the past week about ,£SOO worth of pigs have been dispatched from Eongotea via the ijandon tramway, and about 21,000 sheep have been sent to various freezing works from Feilding. GREYTOWN. Mr. F. K. JCollage, recently Government fruit export, but now manager of the Taslunn Orchard Company, paid Grey town and the Wairarapa generally a visit in tile interests of his company. Tlio following committee lias been appointed to canvass tho Moulon district, and find out what financial assistance is available for the erection of a public hall, for which My. W. S. Carter has promised a section;—Mesdames Hall, Newth, Moliekc-y, Messrs. A. Saunders, Shnw, Garter, Gallaml, Coker, 13owo, and Smith. Residents are of opinion that it would be a great convenience if the railway station were connected by telephone with the local exchange. Sir. E. J. King presided at a meeting in the Druids' Hall on Saturday night, when n football club, to be called the Rover Football Club, was formed. The following office-bearers were appointed:— Patron, Mr. A. Gunning, G. W. Phipps, J. H. Farquhar, — Morwcod, C. H. Gardiner, and 11. Seifert; secretary, Mr. 11. Cirimstone; treasurer, Mr. AY. Moynihancaptain, Mr. Seymour; coach, Mr. J. Kelly; delegates, Messrs. Kelly, King, Morelaml, Moynihan, \V. White; Selection Committee, Messrs. Moreland and Kelly; Management Committee, Messrs. Kelly, King, Moreland, Branton, Moynihan; junior coach, Mr. R. M'Leilan. The club colours are to be green, with gold badge on right breast. A cricket match was played on Saturday between Shannon and Tokomaru teams. Shannon scored 52, of which total Butterworth scc-rcd 30, and Tokomaru responded with 28.
