HAWKE'S BAY WIN THE SAVILE cui\ (By Telccraph.—Press Association.) Hastings, March 27. The polo tournament was continued at Twyford this afternoon ill very favourable weather, when tho final match in the competition for the Savilo Cup was played between Hnwko's Bay (C. A. Mackenzie, !•'. Mackenzie, J. Ormond, and IJ. A. Russell), and Mangaheia (G. Reynolds, K. Reynolds, Hob. Murphy, and Ralph Murphy). The game was well contested and strenuous throughout. At half-time'the scores wereManga lieia, 3; Hawke's Bay, 2. The visitors increased their total to four in the fourth spell, the local team equalising matters in tho following round. Just on tilne Mangaheia registered another goal. Both teams secured two goals in the sixth spell, and at the end of the final the scores were equ:il—B all. Another round was commenced, and after two minutes' play I'. Mackenzie shot tho winning goal. Hawke's Bay thus retain tho cup, which they have won fix years in succession, a record for one club. Messrs. Jloel Wilson and It. G. Black were the umpires, and the game is said to be the finest seen in the history of the cup. The same teams fought out the final last year. '
