The Arbitration Court sat here to-day and heard a claim by the widow of Captain Holland against Richardson and Co., owners of the lighter Moa, for compensation for the deatli of her husband, who was drowned about midnight on July 27 whilst, as was alleged, attending to tho moorings of the vessel. After taking evidence, the Court intimated that it would view the site of the occurrence to-morrow A claim was made by J. M'Kenzie (carpouter) against tho Guardian Insurance Company in respect of injuries occasioned to claimant by a fall from a ladder while working on a building during his employment by A. W.
