(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Timnru, March 26. The nnnual ram fair was held to-day, entries numbering 1012, of which 325 were Border, and 31!) English Leicester?. Border were- most in demand. Some North Canterbury flocks were represented. Itain fell steadily during the sale. Bidding was not animated. Best prices: 6gns. for Shear Stud Komney and for Border- The average prices were about 2Jgns. ■ for English I.eicesters, Signs, for Border Leiceslers, and 3gns. for Romneys. Mr. Dibble, of the Agricultural Department, will give a demonstration of ensilage making from maize at Mr. A. Saunders's farm at Monton on Thursday morning next, writes our Shannon correspondent.
