KARORI AFFAIRS.

A meeting of the Karori Borough Council was held last evening, the Mayor (Mr. C. Cathie) presiding. There were also present: Councillors C. .T. Standen, J. A. Frost, J. T. Horn, A. Hatniliou, B. H. G. Gunn, W. 0. Bradnock, IV. H. Niinmo, M. Anderson, and AV. T. Hihlreth. Application was made bv the Wellington Football Association for the use of a ground on the Karori Park during the coming season.—Tho council resolved that it. could not grant the request, owing to the application coming in. too .late, but would allow the association tho use of No. 3 ground up to, 2.30 p.m. on Saturdays without charge. The offer by the Fairview Estate Syndicate of £20, for expenditure on the roads of the estate was accepted.
