♦-- SLIGHT THEMOK. JfELT IN THE CITY. A slight' but distinct shock of earth* quake was felt in Wellington about half, past eight last evening. ' IN OTHER CENTRES. Wanganui, Jlarch 25. A sharp earthquake shock was expert* enced at 5.35 to-night. Pnlmerston North, March 25. A very shorn earthquake shook was felt here at 8.3 i this evening, following on a slight shake a few minutes earlier. No damage is reported. Mastcrlon, March 25. A distinct shock of earthquake was experienced here at S.'-la In-iiisht. The mov«. went, lasted several seconds. Wcstport, March 25. A brief but vigorou* enrth tremor win felt here nt 8.15 this evening. Hokitika, Jlarch 25. An oarthqunke orcurred here this evening at 8.20. The tremor lasted from IS to 2U seconds.
