Karori led off with 3, but by the sixth head Kclburno was 5 to Karon's 4. For the next four heads Karori scored, and were 9 ta Kelburnc's 5. At the IStli head Kelbunie was 14 and tho homo team 18, and after that the visitors did not score. On tho 21st head the homo team was 7 up. This head was a remarkable one. First it was mndo dead ami when the skips finally went down only 4 bowls were on the green—the result of driving. Crawford took one out and lay 2. Kellv jui-t missed making another "dead .head, leaving ouly 3 bowls on the green. Final totals—Kelbunie, 11; Karori, 23. I NEWTOWN CLUB.
