Wellington Lacrosse Association, to be presented at the annual general meeting being held on Wednesday next, show's" that the association has had a successful season, and that tho name is making good progress.. During tho season the Auckland team visited and wero defeated by Wellington, 'while a tcan J.J as sent to Christchurch; ahd had no difficulty in proving their superiority, lno interprovincial challenge shield presented by Mr. W. J. Proud, of Sydney arrived in Wellington last week, and is a very handsome 'one. It is at "present on view at Speed's tobacconist shop.
