ONSLOW BOROUGH.
The monthly meeting of the Onslow Borough Council was held last night. The Mayor, Mr. F. Holdswortb, was in the chair, and there wore present: Councillors B. Lynncberg, J. C. Gardner, W. H. Bowden, F. Bate?, E. S. Stafford, C. M'Arthur, R. W. Dingwall, C. Aplin, iun.. and G. W. DarvtiH. It was decided to pay roadmen 9s. per day, and foremen Us. per day, as from April 1. The resignation of Mr. C. S. Gardner, ranger, was read and receivod with regret. The position thus falling vacant, applications ere shortly to bo called for.
