THE VOTE OF MEMBERS. IBj Teloeraph-Press Association.) New Plymouth, March 21. The secretary of the Union Committee of the Primitive , Methodist Church reports that the voting received from tho whole of the stations in the Dominion in connection with the vote of members of thnt Church, taken in accordance with the instruction of the last conference, resulted in M 77 votes being recorded for and 2CO against. The vote has been taken on the strict basis of membership of society meetings only. The conferences of both Churches having approved of tho basis, the Union Committee of the Primitive Methodist Church will meet in Wellington, on April 3 to tako tho necessary steps for securing the consent of the British Conference to tho union, which is expected to be consummated next year.
