AUCKLAND LABOUR TROUBLE.
RESOLUTION BY WELLINGTON WATERSIDE WORKERS.
At a meeting of waterside workers, iid« dressed by Mr. P. Webb, president of tho Federation of Labour, and Mr. li. Ross, editor of the "Mnoriland Worker," yesterday morning, the following resolution was passed :-"T'hat this meeting of waterside workers lias every confidence in the executive of the Xew Zealand Federation ot Labour, and approves its action in regard to the Auckland general labourers' dispute; further. \y.e condemn the drspotio notion adopted by the. Auckland Mayor and city councillors and other employers hi refusing to meet the Federation. ' of Labour to discuss the points, in dispute and we pledge ourselves to stand firmlj by our affiliated comrade", the General Labourers' Union of Auckland, if called upon lo do so; .-incl that it be an instruction to our secretary to commuuieate with all local secretaries, and arrange, meetings of protest and united action."
