HINEMOA HAS A EOUGH TRIP. (Dt TolearaDD.-SDMlal CorrejoonawiU Auckland, March 18. Tho Government steamer Hinemoa arrived at Auckland on Saturday from East Coast lighthouses. Owing to a strong north-west gale the Hiueinon was delayed for seven days at tho East Cnpe. Caplain BolloKa reports Uwit all tho keepers and their families are well at tho various lighthouses visited. The vessel landed Principal Keeper Fellows, Into of tho North Haul Lighthouse, Stanukau, and Probationer Keeper Flood nt East Cape, while Principal Keeper Ansin and Assist-ant-keeper Leavers were brought to Auckland from F,ast Cane. Keeper Ansin rocs lo (he lighthouse at Kaipara, and Keeper Levers ha* resigned from the service. Keener Harvey and his family eaino to Auckland by tlie vessel from Cuvier Island on holiday leave. The Hinemoa leaves early to-morrow morning for tho inlf and nortlimi lighthouses! Should the weather be favourable, a landing will l>e made at. (he Three Kings to inspect the food depots there and to search for possible castaways. The Hinemoa should reach Onehunga about April 10, and after landing stores al the lighthouses there and overhauling the buoys a.nd beacons "•ill proceed to Cape Egniont and Cook Strait.
