CBj Telegraph.—Special Correspondents Palmerston North, March 17. The Defence Department has arranged that the Mnnawatu Mounted Regiments shall go into camp at Foxton on May 22. The Foxton Kacing Club had placed its course at tho disposal of tho Department, ami Messrs. Robinson Brothers havo also agreed to allow tho use of their property for drill purposes. It is expected there will bo somo 51)0 men in camp. Mumps are still raging in Palmerston, end is interfering n good denl with the attendance at some of tho schools.
