ATTITUDE OF LABOUR MEMBERS.
(By Telcgrapb.-Speclal OorroaponflenU Christchurch, March 15. At a meeting of the executivo of the Labour Representation Committee, Mr. 11. Hunter presiding; over a full attendance, the political situation was discussed, and tho following resolution carried:— "That tho members of tho executive committee of tho North Canterbury Labour Representation Committee • arc of opinion that tho members of tho Labour party recently elected to Parliament should abstain absolutely* from an amalgamation with either tho Government or Opposition parties, and should not ia any way pledge themselves, or mako any agreement, with either parly, but should liold themselves free to voto for the proposals embodied in tho Labour party'a platform, and under no circumstances should either of tho Labour members accent a portfolio in a reconstructed Cabinet or any other official position in connection with cither party, and should not nttend any official caucus of any party but tho Labour party."
