This week's Gazette contains the following announcements referring to the New Zealand military forces:— Royal New Zealand Artillery. The undermentioned officers, on completion of their period of probation, havo been confirmed in their appointments:— 2nd Lieutenant Henry Arthur Dnvies; 2nd Lieutenant Groves Edward Daniell. 2nd (Wellington, West Coast) Mounted 'Rifles. Lieutenant John Adam Sommerville is transferred to the Cth (Manawatu) Mounted Rifles. Lieutenant Alexander Bowie Farmer, from the 9th (Wellington East Coast) Mounted Rifles, to be Lieutenant. 2nd Lieutenant Francis Arthur Nelson, from the Oth (Wellington East Coast) Mounted Rides, to be 2nd Lieutenant. 6th (Manawatu) Mounted Rifles. Lieutenant John , Adam Sommerville, from the 2nd (Wellington West Coast) Mounted Rifles, to bo Lieutenant. 9th (Wellington East Coast) Mounted Rifles.
