Bj Teleffraph-Frces Assoeititton-OoDirriEht Sydney, March 12. The Union Company's new steamer Maunganui arrived last night altar a record trip of three days and two and a half hours. The weather conditions wore adverse; otherwise the steamer would have done better.

On the run out from Loudon to Melbourne the Maunganui accomplished the fastest "non-stop" voyage ever made between the two ports. She cut out the distance in 3-i} days, and would have done much better had it not been for rough weather encountered off the Cape of Good Hope.
