Millar (Minister for Marine) Ibis moraine of a light at the three Kings, as had been strongly advocated by a further meeting of shipowners and masters j„ .Auckland tho other day. lhe Minister pointed out that the question had already been thoroughly investigated by expert men, who had agreed that tho inaccessibility of tho Throe Kings made it practically impossible to erect and maintain a, light satisfactorily on tho lircat King, as some shipping people had suggested. The Government had, at their recommendation, however, and in the interests of shipping, decided to havo a lighthouse erected at North Cape, where it would meet reasonable requirements.
