MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M.) At the Magistrate's Court on Saturday George Cooper Wilkinson was convicted of insobriety and ordered to nay 17s. Gd. medical expenses. For damaging three blankets he was required to find their value, XI as. Gd. John Patrick Coyle was convicted of drunkenness and was sc-nt to the inebriates' institute at Roto Roa for one year. Francis Adair was fined =£1 for breaking a prohibition order. A bov of 16 years, was found guiltv 'of stealing £6 from the till 'of the officii which lie was employed in. His mother offered to moke restitution, and on condition that this was done the youth was ordered to appear for. sentence when called on. A boy who-was charged with stealing XI 10s. "from Chow Kee was ordered to be sent to the Vi'ereroa State Farm.
